HP’s Neighborhood-Wide Garage Sale
Have a garage sale May 17 in Hawthorne Place or co-host one with your neighbors. It’s been an annual event here for over twenty years. And it’s an opportunity for all of us to put a spotlight on Hawthorne Place, to welcome visitors and share our pride as Springfield’s oldest planned subdivision.
Also, consider donating to the HPNA sale that day on the north end of the boulevard. That sale will be a fundraiser in support for HP activities and events.
Donations, including plants, should be delivered to 1321 Lowell by Friday, May 16.
Goodwill will pick up unsold items that are taken to designated areas for pickup on the 17th, One container will be at the north end of the boulevard and the other on Cedar. Be practical. No dumping. A Goodwill truck is scheduled to arrive on the 17th between 2 and 3PM.
