House numbers for most of Hawthorne Place were altered in 1926 creating some confusion of ownership. Different spellings are frequently encountered. The names cited may be for an owner or renter. There is no attempt to identify all in a household. Where there are texts, “facts” are stubborn things. It can be the beginning for others to do the research.
